The hotel was intended to be a destination site at an out of town location, and to help create this into lighting were appointed to design lighting for all public areas and the external façade.

High level lighting to the exterior shows off the scale of the building and narrow uplighting to high columns gives a dramatic entrance. The main atrium space, several stories high, has moving head gobos mounted on perimeter walls  projecting coloured patterns on ceiling rafts. A lighting control system was important to give maximum flexibility in the very large function rooms where coloured coffer lighting, general ambient and dimmable accent lighting could be configured to change depending on the event.

The exterior façade lighting to the building has a stunning visual effect, and interior feature lighting delivers a unique experience enabling the hotel to attract conference and function customers.
