The brief for the lighting scheme was to incorporate a ‘wow-factor’ that would encourage increased footfall and create excitement for consumers at the Welwyn Garden City branch.


into developed a concept alongside interior designers 20/20 – a colour changing shop front to entice children into the store. The interior then used image projectors and coloured lighting features triggered by PIR sensors to inspire the imagination and enhance the brand.


Footfall in stores with the new concept was increased. The draw of the colour change shop front proved irresistible to walk by without investigating.
